Great location but.....

It was very beautiful and the location was fantastic, but it wasn't very clean. I stayed in many hotels and inns and it just seemed dirty. While most hotels give you a brand new fresh shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion; I walked in the bathroom and the shampoo was half used and the conditioner bottle was empty and left on the counter. It just left me feeling like I was in a public bathroom. Then the mattress was so thin and old, that you could feel the springs in it when you layed down. It was probably very nice ten years ago, but a new mattress was badly needed. I found the rest of the condo nice. The view was great, but I wasn't able to sleep well and I don't think I'll be back.

Relax in heaven!

We've stayed in the Rustic Cottages several times now and have had the most restful and relaxing vacations of our lives. The Four Season's Restaurant is wonderful! The pecan-crusted salmon and Baltimore crab cakes are definitely worth trying. The location is great too being right on the road but still quiet. Just got to love the chipmunks playing outside for pure entertainment. Even in the winter with all the beautiful snow the roads are all accessible. We'll be back next January and October!

Wish we were still there....

The service at this hotel and the location are second to none. From the moment we walked in, the staff was nothing but accommodating and no question was a stupid question. We walked into the room and were pleased to see a full size kitchen, dining area and living room, along with a bedroom and two fireplaces. However spectacular we believed that to be, nothing could beat what we saw when we walked out onto our patio and saw the gorgeous lake. Crystal Waters rental was right next door and were reasonably priced to rent jet skis, speed boats and pontoon boats. The location was close to everything including restaurants, mini golf, arcades, golf areas, and shopping. We went to celebrate our 1 year anniversary -- and we will go back. I wish we had gone there for our honeymoon!!!!!!
