This peaceful and serene lodge is located on the face of Mount Davidson in the quiet part of town. Each quaint room has it's own unique decor and personality. The rooms are very spacious and decorated with period style antiques or reproductions. Your hosts, Bob and Randi Huxhold, will make your stay a pleasant and memorable experience. This is a wonderful place to hang your hat while you're visiting The Castle or shopping at the Gifted Cowboy .

Its our Anniversary Spot!!

My husband and I stumbled across this wonderful place on our honeymoon. Everything about it speaks to you. The rooms are clean and quaint. The owners are friendly and down to earth and I can't think of anywhere we would rather be on our anniversary.

I LOVE this place!!!!!

The rooms are beautiful, clean and smell good. The value is incredible, the rooms are priced lower than anywhere else in V.C. Bob and Randi are the nicest people and make you feel as if you are family. We chose here for our honeymoon and have been going back ever since, for a total of 7 times now. We won't stay anywhere else. The water pressure in the showers is great, hot cocoa, coffee and tea are provided in each room. The beds are so comfortable, you sleep like a baby. I recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy at great stay in V.C.!! It's only minutes away from Carson and other nearby cities. I LOVE the Comstock Lodge!!!

I liked most everything, from the quaint rooms to the family feeling you get from the owners. From our very first visit we felt at home in this lodge. The rooms are vintage, but very clean and are equiped with coffee makers, coffee and cocoa. Which is important in a town that doesn't open before 10:00am. We have been staying at the Comstock Lodge every year since 1996, and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else while on the hill.
