I have stayed there in the past and the service was poor. I was traveling back thru the area and called the motel for a room and found out it was under new management. I decided to give them a second chance. My stay was great. I had excellent service. The manager patrols the grounds at different times and made me feel much safer. I would recommend this motel to anyone now. If my memory serves me correctly the new managers name is Kenny. I would like to thank him for all of his help with my luggage and making my stay comfortable. Will see you again Kenny. UPDATE: I am sorry to say that Kenny is leaving the 27th of December 2011. I thought I would stay there again when I make my next trip thru Palisade, CO. but since you won't be there I will make other arrangements. The past experience that I had before Kenny was the manager is not worth me chancing another bad experience. Kenny if you see this please let me know where you will be next so I can come and stay there. Again thank you for all of your help and kindness.
Inexpensive lodging. Really nice people. Clean rooms. Yes, they're small, but very well updated. I'm not into fluff, and the rooms and location works like a gem to launch for mtb-bike rides, food and hiking.
I loved this little motel the rooms were clean and I deffently could relaxe in them. I Also got a great night sleep the beds were great and it was very quite and the staff was also great they went out of there way to make sure I had everything I needed and derections to where I need to go.
They charged my card without permission, over the amount stated to begin with and then didn't return a deposit to the card purchased for the room after we left. They will not let a visitor in the room for lol longer than 15 minutes without charging you a extra fee. So you cant have family come and vist while your in town and they swindle extra money. Its dirty and the beds sleep like a taco. the owner of the motel Will not talk to you on the phone without yelling .I could not believe that ,that place is still in buisiness . DON"T STAY HERE!!
This is by far the worst motel I have ever been to. The front desk lady is the meanest person you can possibly think of. The rooms are SO small, my wife and I didn't feel comfortable "trying" to move around in them. There are no guests allowed. You must look "Presentable" when walking out of the Motel. This list goes on and on. This motel is like a "prison camp" that you have to pay to stay! Take our advice, pay a FEW extra bucks and go down the road. It will truly save you a headache.
