Evans Motel, Moorefield

We stayed there while doing genealogy research and we will go back when we come to Moorefield again. The room was very clean, the people were friendly and helpful as far as telling good places to eat and what was going on in the area. It was quiet which I really appreciated since I came down with a cold and bronchitis while there. Yes, there is no doubt that the Evans Motel is where we will stay again!

While doing so genealogy work on my family, I stay over night at the Evan's Motel a nice place and at very resonable price. Would I stay there again sure would.

The rooms were very clean, the hotel was centrally located, and it was quiet. We spent a relaxing evening there after driving out from DC. We would stay there again. Also got some good recommendations on where to go eat.

This place is TERRIBLE!!! My girlfriend and I got stuck in Moorefield in a snow storm and needed a place to stay. I wish I had braved the weather and driven on. Our room was a dirty, grungy, broken down mess, and there was no heat. There was no one around to help us that evening, and when we finally found someone in the morning after freezing all night, they were rude, inhospitable and seemingly incompetent. It felt more like staying in a bad dog kennel than a motel as the accommodations and treatment by the staff were truly bottom of the barrel. If you can�t find another motel, sleep in your car. At least the heat will work and you won�t have to deal with dirty sheets and a NASTY bathroom.
