Simpson Motel, Rio Grande

after i got there the lady charged me 55 for the nite the next day i wanted to stay again and the man charged me 75 for the nite i was told by the lady it would be 55 there was no heat i froze the room was dirty the frig broken one microwave out side for everyone to use no english barely it should be condemed dont ever go there iam sure there are bed bugs to!!!

I called two hours prior to even leaving for the shore, which was a last minute trip idea. I had eight people, including myself, where the lady offered us a steal of 55 dollars a room, for two rooms, with four people in each room. Upon arriving to the hotel, the man told me that we couldn't stay in the hotel with that many people no matter how many rooms we had. On top of it, they told me that the prices of the rooms were 75 dollars a room, and only two people could stay in a room. Finally, I gave in, had to get four rooms, without telling them that I knew all those people. The service was horrible, the bathrooms were very dirty, and the rooms had a weird odor. The pool was not opened yet, but I would not have touched it with a ten foot pole. It was by far the worst stay I've ever had in Rio Grande, and I will never stay there again. It didn't help that the attendents barely spoke any english.
