Border Inn, Baker

My family has been stay here for years. It has been a great place to stay, but now it is even better. They have built a new addition. The cafe is now seperate from the bar and slot area. Very clean and smoke free and great food.

New cafe, New Casino, Great food. Very quiet. Highly recommend.

The rooms & gas station are located in Utah and the restaurant and casino are in Nevada. Rooms were decent and fairly large, queen bed was comfortable, rooms were quiet. Good AC and TV. Ice available in restaurant. Food was good, especially the pork verde burrito special they had while we were there. Employees friendly. Paid around $50

My family and I wanted to visit Great Basin National Park. The only other motel in Baker was full so we made reservation with the Border Inn. We were concerned about the bed bugs mentioned in one of the reviews so we asked the owner about it. She stated that they did have a problem at one time,but they had spent $1000's of dollars taken care of the problem and have a very aggresssive monitoring and spray program in place to make sure it does not happen again. We had a very pleasant stay, the rooms were dated but very clean. They are remodeling their Casino and Cafe. We plan on staying there again.
