Gilly's Inn & Convenience Store, Ferron

We were pleasantly surprised to find such a well kept hotel, especially out in the middle of nowhere. The room was clean, and the staff was friendly. There were very good food specials in the convenience store below, which was all cooked there in the store. Our friends stayed in one of the cabins and these were very nice also. Would definitely go back and recommend to others.

We were pleasantly surprised at Gilly's-very, very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful if we needed anything. They are slowly remodeling their rooms and from the ones that were finished before we left-they looked quite nice. The store cooks fresh food every day so we could get some nice food there esp since the only restaurant in town is a fast food type place. Good location to go out on your ATV's. Good hiking & fishing too. Enjoyed our visit to the area. I would recommend the place to families and others who enjoy outdoor activities.

The location is amazing, there are more things to do here than I would have imagined, and Gilly's was clean, comfortable, and personable. The owners made sure that we were settled in, and even gave us detailed directions on several local attractions, including the Wedge Overlook, and Rochester Panel. When we come back this winter for snowmobiling, where do you think we will stay? That's right Gilly's is our home away from home!

The manager is quite RUDE. Needs an AA (Attitude Adjustment). Thinks she somehow has a monopoly on being BUSY ... justifies putting off attending to her clients' needs. She needs some competition in the area. Has no incentive to change 'cause has no other lodge challenging her ! That's just plain unAmerican ! : ) I wouldn't recommend this place.

This place was so dirty! Poop on the wall by the toilet,old tooth past on bthrm mirror, filthy bedspreads, ect.... We were told these were nice! I guess they have changed hands. They "used" to be clean...apparently. We will NEVER stay at Gilly's again!

I travel all over the country every week and I was looking forward to coming back to Gilly's cabins. They are clean large and a nice break from the big chains I usually stay at.
