Fort Hill Motel, Petersburg

I am plannig another trip to Grant County and was thinking about where to say. The Fort Hill came to mind because it is very clean and the owner is very friendly. Its been a while since I was there, but it is memorable because it is so well done!

This motel was very nice! The room was cozy and we really could not find anything we did not like about it. If you really wanted to be a nitpicker, there was no tissue dispenser, the little soap bars had an unusual but not unpleasant aroma and the water was pretty hard. None of these would ever prevent us from returning as this is just really being nitpicky. It was nice to come to a room that did not have smoke odor. It came with plenty of towels, coffee pot in room and blow dryer in bathroom. I definately will stay here again when I am in the area.

I have been staying at the Fort Hill Motel for over a year now and I can't begin to describe how pleasurable my stay has been. It is close to my work, quiet, clean and the staff are friendly and professional. More importantly, I appreciate staying at a facility that is smoke free. As a nurse, I am made aware each day how important not smoking is to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The staff goes the extra mile to make sure my rooms are comfortable. The owners are hands on, and are at the facility on a full-time basis. It is apparent they are committed to giving the customer the very best accomodations possible.
