Riviera Resort Motel, Wildwood

Been going every September for 5 years now. Just got back and LOVED everything about the place. The staff bent over backwards to help me with a fax that had to be taken care of on Friday NIGHT. Clean sheets and towels and the pillows are to die for. My only gripe is the 10am check out. I have to get 3 rooms of families packed up so its tough to enjoy check out morning. We stay all day on the boards anyway, so its not like we are packing to go home ASAP. I cannot say enough about this place. Its my "Happy Place"!

my family and I just returned from a 3 day vacation at the Riviera.....the place was clean, bright and cheery and the staff couldn't be nicer and friendlier.....what a great time....and 1 block from the boardwalk....wow! we can't wait to return again soon......

The Riviera is the best Motel in Wildwood. I've stayed at many Motels in Wildwood but no one compares to the Riviera, they are very clean. When you walk in you see & smell how clean it is.Everyone is so friendly & they make sure your stay is comfortable. July 28th I tried to get a room at the Riviera for my son's Birthday but they were booked. We end up staying at the Beach Terrance Motor Inn. We HATED staying there, it was so dirty. I couldn't wait to leave. I love the Riviera!

friendly staff,clean good location, from the phone call to make reservations to checking out at the end of vacation very nice and friendly staff. the pool and sunning deck kept very clean and organized. parking also not a problem. would love to go back for another vacation

we loved staying at the riviera. it was only one night before we stopped in ocean city for 2 nights on the way home ( big mistake...should have stayed in wildwood), but it was a great time for the short time. room was exceptionally clean and bright with the balcony facing the street and other door overlooking the pool. the location was great for coffee, breakfast, liqueor store and kelly's outside patio bar ( a fun place..the best!!). we would recommend this place and will come back again and again! room 131

My husband, 2-year-old daughter, and myself booked our reservation for the 3-day Memorial Day weekend way back in February and were looking forward to trying a new place that was in close proximity to the boardwalk. Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed when we arrived at the motel and the room was much smaller than depicted on the website (2 bedroom efficiency). No big deal there. The rooms were clean, which was the most important thing. What was VERY disappointing was the temperature of the pool.....freezing (low 70s). The previous year we had stayed across the street from Riviera at another hotel and their pool was approximately 85-90 degrees (nice and warm - necessary for the late Spring air temperatures). We were told it was due to rain over the previous couple days but the hotel across the street that we stayed at last year - pool was nice and warm - we checked. The hot tub at Riviera was also cold. When we asked about that, we were told that it was not a hot tub and that it was "supposed" to be the same temperature as the pool water. Well, there were signs at the entrance to the pool and right by the "hot tub" indicating that you shouldn't stay in it for long periods of time and warnings if you're pregnant (sounds like a hot tub to me). We were assured the temperature would be warmer the next day and when it wasn't the pool guy said, "oh, it's warm - it's at least 70". Needless to say, our 2-year-old could not swim in the water because her lips turned blue and she was chattering away due to being so cold. VERY unhappy about that, as my daughter loves to swim and couldn't. We left a day early after paying almost $600 (including tax) to stay for the 3-day weekend. We will NOT be returning.

Last summer was my first time staying at the Riviera. My entire family stayed there, and we took up about 5 rooms. It was one of the best motel experiences I've EVER had. The staff went out of their way to make everyhing easy and enjoyable for us...I don't think I've ever met a motel staff as genuine and caring as these people are. It is so close to everything...right in the middle of the boardwalk, and you can actually see the boardwalk and water park from the corner of the motel! I feel very safe in that location. The rooms were spotless, and very well equipped with lots of towels. The pool was clean and wonderful, and they have this spectacular upper deck above the pool where you can sit and soak in some sun. Once again, everything is extremely clean. On top of our wonderful experience last year, the motel sent me and my entire family a brochure in early March welcoming us back for this year. I already called and booked my room and was given a nice discount just because I stayed there last year. I absolutely love it there and plan on staying there every time I visit Wildwood.

I have stayed here many times when my children were smaller. It was convenient and also very clean. The people that run the motel were very nice and couteous. Everything was spectacular and very convenient to the boardwalk. At night you just walk back to your room and it was very nice. I do and would recommend this to everyone I know. C. Mitchell

This hotel was good in all aspects. A nice place to enjoy. Good service was given by the hotel staff, would like to visit this place again along with my family and friends.
