Beachwood Hotel, Wildwood

People now-a-days are way to picky with everything. This hotel is old school. Don't expect it to be perfectly clean. It's a nice hotel with a small den area, a nice sized pool, and a little grill area. It's also close to everything! There's a bar behind it across the street along with various other stores and restaurants and it's only 2 blocks from the boardwalk! You can't beat that for what you're paying.

True, this hotel is pretty old but I don't know what these other people are talking about. I go there every year and every year I enjoy myself. The staff is pretty friendly and the manager will actually let you have a late checkout. The rooms are ok looking but all and all, they're pretty clean.It's a great location and i would definetly go back.

I've never been to a hotel where I was told to look at the rooms before I pay for them because there are no refunds. I should've known then something was wrong. I had to clean some things in our rooms before we could use them. It was too late to go somewhere else. My carpet in my room hadn't been clean over 10 years. It was filthy. One of our bathrooms smelled like urine. The other room had a broken lamp. There were dirty pieces of furniture in the hallways that was suppose to be decor. They too were filthy. Many years ago I brought my children and we enjoy it so much that we went there every year. WHAT HAPPENED! This made a big impact on our whole vacation. STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS EARLY SOME WHERE ELSE! PLEASE!

1st off, the Odor in that Hotel (Motel) is aweful. smels like the carpets are 50 years old. The rooms are horrible, and the bed causes you to itch, perhaps from the bed bugs. 2nd thing is that the older woman and the young guy that work there are friendl; The younger polish girl in her 20's with short cropped hair and glasses is a bitch. She gave me an attitude for no reason and to be honest, this hotel isnt worth the hasle. overall, i wouldnt have paid 20 dollars a night let alone 85 had i known what it looked like...
