The hotel is dated but is kept in good repair and condition. It is not a highend Hotel but the location and price make it a great family value. The early and late season deals and getaway packages are second to none! Hotel staff is very friendly and available to help.
My family and I just discovered King's Inn while walking down the boardwalk, on the off-season, about two years ago. We have stayed on the first floor pool side in both May and September of the past two years. You will not find a nicer staff, more convenience or reasonable prices anywhere else.
Can't wait for our May vacation! We love you Kings Inn!
The King’s Inn is the most disgusting place I have ever had to spend a night. The entire hotel smells like an ashtray. The rooms are outdated and not cleaned very well. The carpet was nasty and the bathroom was worse. The staff is rude and very inattentive. They quoted one price and charged you another. I would sleep on the beach before I would spend another night in that dump.
A friend told me about the spot and I stayed there last summer with my boyfriend. I have no complaints. I think it can use some upgrading but was a great spot for location and convenience. If you need lodging but plan to be out and about, this will do just fine. I left my car on the lot the entire stay, never had to move it. We were in the middle of all the piers and right at the boardwalk. I plan to stay for a week this summer with my boyfriend and children. We're excited!
we have been going to kings in for about 15 years and i would never stay ant where but kings in. Kay and her staff is great. I have never had a problem with any of the staff. the rates are great good lacation 2 steps and your on the board walk.now alot of my famly go with me in july and aug. keep up the good work kay.
Barbara Walker. see you in july cant wait
I called to ask about their availability and spoke to the front desk lady. She was very rude and unfriendly. She claimed to be the boss of the other front desk person (and I wonder how she became the boss with such rudeness). I was given inaccurate and inconsistent information by them and told to go somewhere else. I have never experienced such bad customer service like that before.
I hope your experience is much better than mine.
All the people that gave this Motel a good review, have to be related to the owners. First of all the owners were so rude and lower then low life, they got very snappy with just a simple question, you could see there wasnt much education between them at all. If you dont like filthy rooms with bugs all over, filthy pool and very uneducated people, this place is not for you. The only thing you might think is good about this place is that it is right at the boardwalk. but take my advice, i would rather walk 10 blocks to the boards then saty there. I have my own business, and I dont care if you run a motel in ww or you are the head of a company, learn how to do it the right way.
I thought that the King's Inn was a nice place to stay. I do have some complaints, however: I didn't like the was that they repaired a hole in the bathroom door in room 222. The door NEEDS to be REPLACED. There was another patch on the inside of the door that was worse looking than the damage itself! The room had no alarm clock or other time-telling device, the toilet was too small, the shower head piping was loose, the beds were hard, and the railings were not very high and curved dangerously outward. The motel sign had an estimated 75 out of 100 burned out bulbs and the the 3-story motel had no elevator! On the plus side, It was located right above Ed's FunCade and it had a nice terrace which overlooked the boardwalk. Just a few steps to The Olympic Casino and only 3 blocks to Gateway 26 Arcade and Morey's Pier!
The pool was too small and the laudry room was dirty and the bathrooms near the pool need to be remodeled. The stairs were in bad need of repair. I liked the motel alot it just need some updating. The location is the best. The rooms were clean. The bathroom needed to be updated. I think once they do so remodeling work they will fine. I enjoyed my stay there. They should also think about putting better locks on the doors and curtains that keep the lights that shine all night out.I would there again. i stayed at this motel for 6 summers.
