Landmark Motel, Wildwood

the room had dirty sheets on the bed the frig didnt work, the front desk people were very rude and unprofessional. they accused of having more people in the room but when i asked to see the tape they refused. they just wanted to charge us extra. you had to pay for ice no irons and you cant have visitors stop over just to say hi. unless you pay 10dollars per person ive never heard of that in my 50 years of traveling

i love the land mark hotel its the bestest place in thw world it has great prices great amenitiesan awesom pool and great firework too its kinda better than disny world i wil want to go there every summer forever

Just came back from a weekend at the Landmark. This was our 4th summer in a row and I still love it. The location is perfect. You walk out the door and you are right at Mariner's Landing. Best pier up there. My daughter loves the place and the pool. I wasn't a bit bothered by the clubs across the street and neither was my 5 year old daughter. Shut your door, put the air on and TV and you don't really hear anything, especially on the Boardwalk side. If you can, request the Boardwalk side. Its so much more fun to see the Giant Wheel lit up at night and the fireworks on Fridays! I am going to try to get down again before the weather changes.

I love the Landmark. My family and I used to come down every September for the antique car show when I was younger and the memories that stand out the most for me are of this motel. And, like almost everyone else has said, I love Rocky!

The steps away location to the beach and boardwalk could not be beat. The rooms were clean and a good value for a beach resort. We had no problem with the staff, Renee was very friendly and helpful. We will return again.

The owners and staff are great I go there everytime I go to wildwood. I never had a bad experience the woman at the front desk is great she always has time to talk to you or help you with anything. I can't believe the reviews I read if they had that bad of an experience they must have done something wrong. The people and place is awsome!!!!

We went on the recommendation of a friend. We enjoyed our stay. The husband hooked my son's playstation up for him.I also liked the fact that there was an elevator on the premises no steps to climb. You're close to the boardwalk and parking on the premises. The dog scared me a little. But other than that we had a great stay. Just sent a deposit for July.

STAFF AT DESK..NO PERSONALITY. COULD TAKE SOME LESSONS ON HOW TO TALK TO PEOPLE. HAVE TO PAY FOR ICE. KIDS GAME ROOM ..HAVE TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING. TOWELS LOOK LIKE SOMEONE CLEANED THE FLOOR WITH AND THEN PUT THEM IN BATHROOM. NO AMENITITES. NO FREE COFFEE. WOW. WHAT A CHEAP PLACE. WHY HAVE A ROOM WITH A PULL OUT SOFA, AND THEN HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR EACH CHILD/PER NITE. ANY OTHER MOTEL JUST CHARGE FOR ROOM AND DON'T CARE HOW MANY KIDS..THE ROOM IS PAID FOR. LADY AT DESK NEED TO TAKE A COURSE IN GOOD MANNERISM.

I've been to the Landmark twice in the past 2 years and I think it's quite nice. Motel is conveniently located to the Boardwalk and restaurants. Pool is nice, my kids love it. Service is so-so. I have to agree with other postings regarding unfriendly staff. Many times you don't get a hello, a smile or anything. The other motel guests are more friendly! The strip clubs that are in that area are a major downfall especially when traveling with kids. At night there are a lot of annoying motorcycles. I'd recommend the motel regardless of it's downfalls.

The hotel itself is in a great location. The rooms were nice for a motel room, but the bathroom could use some updating. The sign on the motel says the pool was heated, it felt to me that they threw ice in there. Overall when we checked in the motel the woman at the front desk was very nice and receptive, but after that she never even said hello to us again. The only person who even talked to us after check-in was the maid, who was friendly. As for the rest of the staff they need some training in dealing with the public. Maybe the woman at the front desk felt she did not have to worry about her job because her in-laws owned the motel.
