Victorian Rose Inn, Yerington

Very pleasant, quiet and clean. I've been staying there during the week, for business, and enjoy the accommodations and the management. Having a fridge in the room is great for keeping yogurt and munchies, and the ability to borrow a book to curl up with is a big plus, IMO. For my first week, I was in a two room suite that was lovely. After asking, I learned that I could bring my small dog, and some of their rooms are designated for pets. While it wasn't a suite, it was extremely roomy and just as homey as the first. The inlaid tile was beautiful. Everyone is very pleasant and I do recommend for anyone wanting something far more personal than a typical motel.

Our ladies bowling team went to Yerington for the Nevada State Tournament in May, 2011. The rooms were like visiting your grandma and she let you use her room! The cozy atmosphere prompted us to get our lunch to go and take it back to the "library" to eat together. The library is full of books, tapes and a TV to play them on, a full size coffee pot, microwave and ice machine. Also a dining room table, armchairs, puzzles and games. I wish that I could find a motel like this everywhere we go. Thank you so much for a great stay.

Old, quiet and beds are comfy. We stayed in the room with three beds which was a little too pricey. Library with coffee and ice smells like mold which I am allergic to. I'll pass this one up and stay in Hawthorne instead on the next visit.

My brother from Georgia and myself from the Big Island, Hawaii shared a room for 2 weeks mid December to January 2008. We visited family for the Holidays. The lady who runs the place is co-owner with her sister. The spaces are clean, affordable, and adorned with country style knick/knacks inside and out. Our space was 2 small rooms and and a bath, 2 double beds. There's a space they've converted into what they call the "Library". It has a hundred or so VHS movies, more than that, books and magazines, a kitchenette w/ice maker, microwave, coffeemaker, and tea pot w/fixin's. A tread exercise machine as well. I asked for a place to keep some stuff refrigerated, she gave me a padlock and an entire full size refrigerator for my own to use. The place is hooked up to wireless for computers as well, no charge. Couldn't have been better, and in Yerington, Nevada to boot.
