A Great Place to Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/09/09
In August a group of eight motorcyclists had accomodations here and they were excellent. The office handled our four rooms quickly and efficiently. The rooms were super clean. This was a great place to stay.

Great Place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/19/07
The Historian Inn is a lovely place to stay. We've stayed there numerous times and for several days each time. It's always clean, the desk clerks are friendly, and they have a nice continental breakfast. It's in a convenient location to people we visit in the area and it's an easy drive up to Lake Tahoe from the Inn! It's also close to several fun antique stores. It's quite picturesque in winter!

The best hotel in the area
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/03/06
We were looking for a hotel one night in May 2006 as we drove thru town. My wife said that is the place to stay-HISTORIAN INN. We stopped at several other hotels in the are and they didn't do anything for us. We are picky to say the least. I drove back to the Inn and I am glad I listened to my wife. When I walked in the Inn I knew this was the place to stay. The lady at the desk was friendly and had a wonderful smile and made us feel at home. The room was great, breakfast was wonderful and the host on the desk the next morning had a wonderful smile and made you feel at home. The next night we missed our cell phone cable and I called them and they found the unit and sent it to us. We just completed a 8500 trip and we stayed at many motels and hotels. We would rate this Inn the BEST.
