Hickman's Motel, Millsboro

Had to give at least 1 star, but in reality I would say it's a minus 2 stars. Searched for reasonable rooms for short term job. reserved 2 rooms for 3 hard working guys. Got to this motel,, I wouldn't even let my dogs stay here.. We were insulted to say the least. yes, they were reasonable for the area, but I would fear for my life staying here. Didn't even swap for a key, got out of there pretty damn quick and went elsewhere.

This is the most disgusting place I almost stayed. Everything in the room was dirty. There were huge gaping holes in the side of the boxsprings. There were flies all over the place...both dead and alive. We paid our money then saw the room and requested a refund. They granted the refund quickly and easily but I just checked my account and saw that they charged me anyway....No doubt that I will get my money back though. The place if foul and should be condemned.

The cost was very expensive, higher than I was quoted the office was filthy and the rooms were worst. Office staff not friendly. Sheets and bedding were stained, mildew in the bathroom with fallen off tiles, the toilet rocked. The base of the front door was rotten, the carpet was water stained and mildewed.... It was the most horrible place I had ever been....if it hadn't been so late i would have gone elsewhere....place made me sick the smell was disgusting. GO ELSEWHERE!!! It doesn't even deserve an awful star!
