Andruss Motel, Coleville

I stayed at this family-run motel overnight before attending the nearby Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Challenge in Pickel Meadows. It's a quiet place and I got a good night's sleep. The motel has an old-fashioned hunting/fishing lodge appeal but with updated amenities and the room was very clean. I'll definitely be back!

My friends have traveled for the last 30 years together and the Andruss Motel is one of the nicest places we have stayed in. Mary the owner was a great help and the rooms, beds, grounds were excellent. We plan to come back sometime soon. Peter, George, Elliott.

We loved the family friendly feeling. I felt back in time of the 50's. Very clean, and great eating on both sides of the Motel. We also enjoyed BBQing our fresh Trout, and eating outdoors with others. We just walked to the river in back to fly fish, got our limit in 30 minutes, huge trout! We will be back for sure.

I'v been staying at the Andruss for a lot of years. My family and I come back every year. Sometimes twice a year. Bob and Mary are great,they are one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Their place is great and the kids love the pool. I highly recommend the Andruss to all.

Looking for a motel that would be in the right place, accept my cat and be a good experience for my French grandsons on their first visit to the US I happened on the Andruss Motel. (On-line) Our one-night stay turned out to be a VERY nice experience. Everything was VERY clean and well kept. The in-room coffee bar held some welcome surprises. Our room also had a small fridg. and microwave oven. The beds were comfortable and the cat could sit on one and look out the window. The folks who run the place were very friendly and easy to deal with. There is a nice pool and a playground for children; fish cleaning facility and plentiful ice and storage place for your catch. Although it is very near the highway it was a very quiet location. It is one of those older motel locations on 395 that beckons but you never know what you are getting into. But, not to worry, all is good at the Andrus! The location being next to Walker Burger helped too. (A great place for families with good (fast)food in a wonderful setting!)

I stayed only one night, but would have been happy for more. Extremely clean, great amenities, really, really nice folks. Useful location, but most of all the owners were hospitable, friendly and very helpful. What a wonderful motel.

We booked a room at the Andruss so we could spend the night in the Eastern Sierra before heading out for a three day backpacking trip. We arrived very late from the Bay Area and we found our room ready, impeccably clean, and really comfortable. The bed was firm, the shower was lovely, and we **really** appreciated the two packs of caffeinated coffee and the two granola bars for breakfast. We are used to staying in 4 and 5 star international hotels and we would recommend the Andruss to anyone who wants an honest, comfortable, and clean place to spend a night or a week. Hats off to Bob and Marie for a job well done. If you are on 395 and need a place to stay for the night, stay here. If you are in need of a base from which to explore the Eastern Sierra, stay here.
