The Original Springs Hotel, Okawville

Although I had to drive from St. Louis, the hotel was easy to find and very close to the highway. The mineral bath was soothing and very clean. The facility was quiet and old fashioned. Reminded me of the old Iowa town I grew up in. Massage was great; relaxing, and reasonably priced. Everyone was friendly and made sure I was happy with the whole experience. I will definitely go back. The hot stone massage will feel good in the winter time.

I just moved back to the area and am so glad to be able to visit this wonderful relaxing place again. It is such a suprise to find such good massage and that wonderful pool to swim in in the small town of Okawville. Over the years things have kept improving and it is well worth the drive if you don't live close.

I am the most devoted fan of The Original Springs Hotel. I have been a patron for over twenty years. I have seen the changes that Mary and Don have made in the last eighteen years and I can say it has been a labor of love for them.They have put sweat equity in the hotel and have had in my opinion a tremendous success in doing so. The hotel is charming,a success in service,The food is great, The staff is comitted,and I have never had a bad experience there. The spa is wonderful. The bath house is brand new and so relaxing.You feel totally at home in every area of the hotel complex. I love everyone there and am at home there. It is a perfect getaway for a weekend. You should treat yourself and step back in time, relax and let Mary and Don slow the pace down for you for a spell, You will be so happy that you did.

My sister in law and myself came to this "spa" for a girls weekend. This was the filthist most unprofessional place I had ever been too . Our room smelled like cat pee the manicurist (I am saying that very lightly) used a home foot tub that you buy at walmart. The Massage was actually very good the lady was very unprofessional though. I came there to relax not worry about getting a desease. While the woman walked around in little robes there were dirty old men staring at us . I would not recomend going there. Also just incase someone reads this and stats how come you never got your money back , we tried but the refused and went through all the chains of commands and well lets just say small town politics are good thing!! I could keep going but isnt enough room.
