Seaside Inn, Fenwick Island

Found this place last minute on a ride to the beach for the weekend. They staff was very nice and was able to offer us a last minute deal for the night and the rest of the weekend. The beach was almost out the back door. When we walked to the beach the next day it was so secluded, and quiet not overpacked with alot of families. The only downfall was the pool in the court yard was very small. This is a great place to stay. They offered microwave, frig, iron, and cable. I will continue to stay every summer from now on!

The staff was not helpful from the woman at the front desk, Oxsana, to the maintenance man that lost his temper and yelled at us. We experienced a dirty tub, mildew on shower curtains, dead bugs on bathroom floor, poor lighting in rooms, protruding carpet tacks that could go through someone's foot. When we asked a few days later why our problems had not been addressed, Oxsana told us she "was waiting for us to complain again". Oxsana said she would tell the cleaning crew to clean our tub on our 2nd day. The cleaning crew did not know about this request when they came by that day and were surprised (and the tub was just as dirty. Disinfecting is not the same as scrubbing a tub). The protruding nail that Oxsana said would be fixed the next day was never addressed, and the maintenance man was unaware that it needed to be fixed as of our third day there. Turns out he was off from work the past two days so I'm not sure how the carpet was to be fixed when the maintenance man is off from work. The Atlantic Coast Inn has a much nicer staff and clean rooms.

THE ROOMS WERE FILTHY. BATHROOM FLOOR LOOKED LIKE IT HADN'T BEEN CLEANED IN A YEAR ! ONE NITE IT RAINED.......AND WATER CAME IN UNDER THE SLIDING GLASS DOOR AND SOAKED THE CARPET. WHEN WE TOLD MGT. ABOUT IT........THEY JUST SAID.......' oh yes.......we've been having trouble in alot of rooms with water ". NOTHING WAS DONE. PLUS.........TO TOP IT OFF..........SOMEONE TRIED TO BREAK IN OUR CAR !!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY WORST ENEMY.

The room (especially the sofa) needed extensive cleaning. The employees were rude and seemed to be upset by any questions (Where's a good place to eat? How far to ...). They all seemed to be from the former Soviet Union or Easten Europe where the concept of customer service is foreingn to them.

The beds were comfortable, but the bathroom could have been a little cleaner. I was disappointed when I arrived and it looked nothing like the picture on the web. There was no elevator. It was walking distance to a private beach and a short drive to Ocean City! My biggest dislike was the price. Probably wouldn't stay there again unless the price was cut in half!!

The room was very dirty. The room smelled disgusting. Also, the pillows had brown stains on them. We were grossed out. The pictures on the website look nicer then the place actully is. On the other hand it was a good deal. However, if you need a cheap hotel and don't care about the smell or dirty rooms then this is the place for you.

Earlier Review is absolutely correct. May not be a 5-star establishment, however:Staff was great, rooms were clean, great location, price was right, the beach only one block away, eateries within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay and will go back.

If you are used to a 5 star hotel with tile floors and heated towels, this is probably not the hotel for you. However it is in a perfect location. Easy to get to OC and Bethany and a quick walk to the beach. The staff was friendly, the kids enjoyed the pool, and overall a great experience.

I only have one complaint. The wireless internet only works in a few rooms. If you know your bringing your computer request a room near the modem. I could not use my computer the whole week we were there because there was a wall between us and the modem. They did offer to move us. But we declined. Other then that we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and nice.

GREAT ROOM!STAFF WAS AWSOME! IT IS ONLY 1/2 BLOCK TO BEACH.MY FAMILY AND I HAD GREAT SERVICE FROM MAID SERVICE.EVERYONE SPOKE TO US AND GREETED US.ROOMS VERY CLEAN.YES IT IS OLD ,BUT WORKED GREAT FOR US.STAY AWAY FROM FENWICK CRABHOUSE.WOMAN AT DOOR "RUDE" MADE FACES AT YOUNGER COUPLES COMING IN TO EAT!DID NOT SPEAK,SHOWED US OUR TABLE AND WE LEFT!EAT AT WARRENS STATION.GREAT FOOD GREAT PRICE!
