Francis Scott Key Motel, Ocean City

I loved this place. There was so much to offer for my children. I have twin 7 year old boys and my daughter is 4 and they loved it. It was close enough to the beach but far enough away that you didn't have to deal with the loud party goers!! We stayed at the hotel for most of our stay because of all it had to offer for our family. The indoor kid pool is great and they show movies every night for the kids while you swim. The outdoor pool also offers a kiddie section and there is also a spray park. The room was clean and for all it has, the money was definetly worth it. The only down side was the shower. The water pressure was poor and the water would go from very hot to very cold in seconds by itself. At the end, the kids were sad to leave. And we were too. I can't wait to go back next year!!!!

After about 10 years of staying there summer and winter months...NEVER AGAIN. I by mistake realized after getting half way home that I left 1 coat and a jacket hanging on the back of a chair. Called and was told no problem they will send it to me and just bill my credit card for the cost of sending my items to me. After two weeks, I called there and no one could tell me where my stuff was. There was no record of anything being mailed. No record of my call. They basically blew it off and tried to accuse me of misplacing my two items. I assured them that not only do myself and husband come there and been guest their for MANY years that also my entire family stays there as well. It basically meant nothing to them. Apparently they forgot about the people who were not only loyal to their establishment but who also helped them build their business. I should have been given at the VERY least a FREE NIGHT. I wish we had found this place when my son was little. It's great for teens too but better for kids under 13. It has an indoor pirate themed pool w/several little kid play areas with movie screen, outdoor pool, basketball, volleyball, miniature golf, water play area, kids activity sessions, not in the tourist trap of OC, very reasonably priced compared to OC, and tempura-pedic beds! Best sleep on vacation I ever got. Going back longer this year.

i have been going hear since i was 5 i was amazed at how much ther is to do the rooms are very clean and they have 2 pools one indore and one outdoor they also have a beach shuttle wich takes you to the board walk for free pluse the rooms are great very good A/C the rooms are very spaceous depending on what room you buy and how many people you have i recomend the vacation houses its a little more expensive but it acomadates more people and have 2 seperet rooms 1 has one queen size bed the other is two twin sized beds and the living room has a pull out couch pluse ther relly closte to the pools. i hope i could help - demonslayer

Loved everything about the place!! Indoor and outdoor pools. All were great..Even had a bar at the outside pool. The indoor pool was just awesome, Great for kids. The room was very nice..the bed was just okay. Can't complain about anything else. Great location.

A friend reccomended this hotel to me three years ago and i was amazed! We have stayed many different places in ocean city and nothing compares to the service, cleanliness, and amenities you receive here. They are very accomodating and friendly. My husband is very fussy about staying anywhere and he was completely satisfied for the first time in his life. This place is a wonderful family vacation spot. We will never stay anywhere else!!!!!

Hello, I would like to give credit to this wonderful hotel. The owners Jim and Annemarie are a delight to be around. I love the pool and so did my 11 year old twins. Alffie and Fran. I am not sure but the front desk supervisor Jess was a delight. You cann't tell anyone but Affie had a Crush on er. My daughter Fran had a chrush on the life gaurd Chad. This hotel gave me a pleasure to write about and I am glad to write that I will be revisiting next month.

Have always had a wonderful time at FSK. Everyone on the staff has never let us down. From the time we check in, til when we leave,have never had a bad day there. And look forward to be there again next summer.

First of all, the motel is very stately, and there was always someone outside cleaning. We were amazed at how quiet it was at night. The location was wonderful,especially since we didn't know just what West OC had to offer. We took advantage of the shuttle service, as well as the indoor pool (every day!). I thought the value was awesome. The only complaint that I can think of is that the mattress was truly one of the worse I've ever slept on. Will we go back next year? I've already got the dates planned!

What a great value!!! Could not beat the price. Good services..Shuttle to and from Beach made it very convenient. 3 pools to choose from .Fitness room (not for me but if your into working out) Small arcade to keep kids occupied for an evening. Close to beach, boardwalk and shopping. I will return no doubt
