Better shop around.

Compared to the Ocean Mecca web page, it was a big dissappointment. From the pictures of the efficiency rooms to the quoted price for the time frame I was there, nothing was as advertised. The efficiency room I was rented was way overpriced for what was advertised.

not clean, the price and also poor in informaton when arive the whorse part is the your force to stay for two days oderwise there was no way to get the room.

The room came with no refgerator,hairdryeror alarm clock. There were flies in the room too. I wouldn't stay here again.

The only place we stay

We have been going to Ocean City since i was a little kid. We have always stayed at the Ocean Mecca and now that I am older and have my own family, I still stay there. It is the best place to stay for being on the boardwalk and their pool is the cleanest anywhere. There is parking right at the motel, not like other hotels that make you park across the highway. The owners do not allow loud noise or rowdiness. The rooms are very clean and there are different kinds to choose from, depending on what you want to pay. I don't think I will ever stay anywhere else in Ocean City unless it's a free penthouse.

beats the big chains

Small family run place. Has strict rules but that is good so "riff raff" is tolerated. Unlike big chain hotels, this place is friendly and you can actually understand what they're saying since they are Americans. Location is perfect. Don't have to waste gas driving anywhere. Rooms and grounds are clean and FEEL clean. Little more in price and no real amenities but if you want clean and quiet and beautiful views from most all rooms, we highly recommend it. Call ahead for reservation though. Prices are higher if not. Also the pool is the best we have ever found. It is on the boardwalk and is crystal clear.

Love it!!! Love it!!!

I loved the location of the place, this is the reason why we picked it in the beginning. The people at the front desk were fabulous. The only this I disliked is that their was no one taking care of the hotel at night they left. Other than that the pool was nice the hotel was extremely clean. I have stayed at two previous hotels at oc this on is by far the best one. Can't wait to go back next year!!! It was a cheap hotel for a great stay

home by the sea

this motel has been our choice of a home away from home for thirty three years.we would not consider staying at another rental in O.C. The owners, staff and cleaning crew make your stay enjoyable from the day you get there till the day you leave. It is a very clean well maintained place that caters to families. If you are planning to be a wild partier and disrespectful of their property, I would advise you to stay elsewhere. I love sitting under the umbrella at the table by the pool, watching the people swim in the ocean and walk on the boardwalk. I love parking the car and not moving it for a week because it is located close to everything!!

Given a choice I will always stay here

My very first trip to OC about 6 years ago I stayed here at Ocean Mecca and I had a marvelous time. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the motel was kept very nicely inside and out. Even the parking lot was clean. It was right on the beach and the boardwalk. The staff was courteous and very accomodating. I have ben back once or twice a year since then and I have always stayed here at Ocean Mecca and given a choice thats where I will always stay.

A Nice Getaway

My family and I went to our motel that we had reservations at, and found that the room was terribly dirty. We decided to look around Ocean City for a better place and happened to stop into Ocean Mecca Motel. What a suprise!!! The rooms were the cleanest I and my family have ever been in. The staff, especially the front desk staff, were extremely helpful in everything from helping us to find everything we needed in Ocean City, to giving us a great rate so that we didn't go over our budget. This motel is a four star, and my family and I will be spending our yearly vacation at the Ocean Mecca Motel year after year now. I would and do reccomend this motel to everyone that I know.
