Uncompahgre Bed and Breakfast, Montrose

I am a traveling CRNA and have stayed in many, many hotels. I found this B&B to be the BEST place I have ever stayed on a long term work assignment. I was there for almost 3 months. The hospitality, food,accomidations were as if I never left home. Barb and Don were extremely helpful and very knowledgable of fun things to do in the area. I would HIGHLY recommend it to everyone that wants quality and comfort. Thanks for a WONDERFUL visit. I'll be back. Jan Kleinsasser

We were touring through Colorado on our motorcycles and stayed one night. It was one of the few places that wasnt requiring a two night minimum because of Labor Day. Barbara, our hostess, was very friendly, informative about the area and courteous. Our rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We had all of our needs met immediately and were really made to feel right at home. We sat out on the porch that evening and enjoyed spending the time with our group and the mtn air. Breakfast was casual, allowing us more time to unwind and prepare for the ride home. I especially enjoyed the fruit! I would recommend this place to our friends and look forward to staying again.

We recently came back from 2 nights at the Uncompahgre Bed and Breakfast. We stayed a nice room with a double jetted tub, we came to photograph the San Juan Mountains near Telluride, Colorado. This is a great place as it is on the way to Telluride if you are coming from the east or north. The room is very clean, breakfast is filling and the host is very pleasant and friendly. The B and B was converted from an old school house and very spacious and clean. I highly recommend this B and B if you want a nice place for a reasonable price while visiting the San Juan Mountains near Telluride or Ouray and Silverton, Colorado.

What a pleasant place to stay. After stopping at many hotels with no vacancies, we were told about this place. How lucky we were. The hostess was friendly and helpful. It was clean and well-kept. Breakfast was very tasty. Beautiful scenery. Would go back again.
