Just like home!

Over the past 6 years, I have stayed at the Snowshoe Motel about 8 times. My last visit was for a week in August 2006. On each stay I was treated like an old friend with any reasonible request attended to right away. I have even requested a soft down pillow rather than the standard polyester type. The room was squeaky clean on every occasion and quiet. The king size bed was firm and confortable with spare blankets and pillows in the room. In the morning a "homestyle" continental breakfast is served with some homemade item available each day. My favorite is "Cowboy Coffee Cake" served every Saturday. The coffee is good and strong.If you're lucky, you might even be given the receipe to the "Cowboy Coffee Cake".

Convenient, simple and nice

We have stayed at the Snowshoe Lodge several times in the past seven or so years. It is a nice and simple motel with wonderful owners who strive to give their guests the very best. The motel is convenient as it is within walking distance of anything in town. They have your basic motel room and they also have kitchenettes, which we have utilized several times. The rooms are clean and the price is a good value, particularly when many of the lodging units in Creede during the summer require a minimum nights stay.
