Mt Carmel Inn, Stockton

The beds had long hairs and the smell of perfume or body splash on them. The couch had dog hair. Cob webs in corners and on vents. No view of the lake as advertised or access to lake. Other than that, it's fine.

We always have a great experience at Mt. Carmel my husband and I love to take the kids to the lake every year and because of its great location to the lake and the clean rooms and great service we always stay at Mt. Carmel! They have a great clean pool, BBQ grills, the staff is very friendly and rooms and rates are great! I recommend you come and checkout this place you will not be disappointed!

This is a clean, efficient, well kept place and very hard to get into due to its popularity. We love it and come back whenever we can. However Yahoo maps (and Google maps) place it wrong: it is east of their spot on Road #215. You have to go east over the bridge (that is over that westerly arm of the lake), and continue about 3 more miles or so. It is located as 215 turns from east to south heading toward a little spot in the road called Cane Hill. If you get to Cane Hill, you have gone too far.
