Mother Lode Lodge is a clean and comfortable motel situated in historic Mariposa, California just 40 minutes drive from the entrance to Yosemite National Park. Centrally located in Mariposa, we are within easy walking distance of all the great restaurants and shops in the historic downtown district.Each quiet and comfortable room has a private bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, cable TV, and alarm clock. A hairdryer and iron and ironing board are available on request. There is free Internet access available in the front office for those who bring their laptop computers.Our swimming pool is the largest motel pool in town and we keep it sparkling clean for your enjoyment. Vending machines and ice are on site.Please read our T&Cs below before booking.

Won't be going back there!

I've stayed at the Mariposa Lodge and the Best Western and had very nice experiences. The Mother Lode was quite a disappointment! The room was clean, but the beds were old and sagged in the middle. There was a gap under the door (no weather stripping) so we stuffed towels underneath. There was no dresser or phone in the room. (It is outside, across the parking lot!) And no one bothered to clean or even empty the trash the second day. The bathroom was worse. The only towel hook was in the shower stall, the toilet was so close to the sink you had to sit a little sideways, and (in the words of my former Navy husband) the stall was "smaller than a rain locker".

WAS A PLEASURE

we had a big football event in Mariposa and although many friends stayed at other places in town, i stayed at the Mother Load Lodge and was very pleased with the staff and the rooms. When others were forced to wait until 3pm to check in, we were allowed to check in at 1pm. I would stay here again! Thank you to the staff for making our visit a good one.

great place to stay

Me and my husband have stayed at this hotel the last three times that we have gone to yosemite.It is very nice .the review that was left I seem to think is very unfounded. The rooms are cute in everyone that we stayed in has had a frig and a microwave and the beds seemed almost brand new.they arent those nasty hotel mattresses that are super uncomfortable because of allthe springs. we had two towl bars in each of the three rooms that we stayed in.They to also had hooks in the shower which im pretty sure is for a loofa or scrubby.They also have always been really clean.We stayed here in december febuary and again just this month and were really impressed.The staff is all family and is extremely helpful.We plan to stay here every time we are in that area.

Everything was wonderful rooms very clean and quiet the mother lode lodge in Mariposa is a great place to stay on your get away.The staff is kind and friendly. We will always stay here when in Mariposa. Thank you so much.
