Parkway Restaurant, Whitesburg

My familey is from this region. I brought my wife to a familey renioun and stayed at this location. It was on of the best hotels we have stayed in in a long time. It was very hospitable and affordable.. The service was first rate. The food was very delightfull.

I am a home office associate for Wal-mart. I had a special project to do at the Whitesburg store. I first booked a room at the Super 8. It was the awfullest motel i ever stayed in in my life. The next day i came and checked out the Parkway Inn. I really liked it. I booked a room and the next day paid my bill at Super 8 and moved to Parkway. The restaurant has great home cooked meals. The whole staff is very friendly and helpful. If ever in this area will definitely stay here.

The negative comments posted on here are from a former employee who had to be fired, for costing the company thousands of dollars for his mistakes....and in his anger is trying to "get back" at the hotel. As far as the owner is concerned, she is an elderly lady but is the most kind hearted person you could ever meet. She helps people all the time, financial, as well as just kind words. I have never seen an employer treat her employees the way she treats hers, buying them lunch etc.... I have worked in the office for over a year and can honestly say I love my job. I as well as the rest of the staff and my boss, treat people the way we want to be treated with the up most respect.....our maids are very friendly ladys that will literally jump for you if you say how high. I thank you for your time and hope you look over the childishness or our former employee who was terminated after MANY warnings and continued to do what he was doing.

My family and I stayed at the Parkway Inn a couple weeks ago and found it very enjoyable! The staff (clerks, maids, managers) were so kind, and made us feel at home. The room was clean, and it looked as if there were new carpet in my room and the bedspreads were new looking, also. I appreciate all that they done for me and would stay again very soon!!!

The rooms were in deplorable shape as far as amenities and cleanliness. You could tell they havent been updated in several years. I wouldnt even walk on the carpet in my sock feet it was very dirty. I would never stay there again.
