Starlight Motel, Van Buren

The starlight has new owners . A nice young couple bought the place. The rooms are the cleanest they have ever been. Great job keep up the hard work.

I was able to get a nice clean room for the night. Very Hospitable.

This was ok in a pinch. The staff was very nice. Just needs to put some TLC and update the place. Probably won't stay again unless improved

Love the owners of the starlight. Nice people, clean rooms, and close to everything in town! Can't wait to enjoy this summer staying at the starlight!!

It's been a couple of years since we were there, but I remember it being clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Pool great for kids, small but clean. Near river - not walking distance though. Grocery shop nearby - TV, microwave, phone, fridge, cooking area outside/grills. Beautiful hummingbird tree in grounds - lovely to watch, very unusual. Would go back again.

The owners are very nice and tried hard, but this place is in need of expansion and renovation. It is old and very tiny. We require a larger place in the future. Not very close to the river.

This room was smaller than Supermans telephone booth. We opened a drawer and roaches raced out. The sink had roaches and roach droppings on it. Last time we'll ever stay here.

Every year we have a large group of friends that go and we rent out most of the hotel. We spend Friday night in the pool. Then get up early on Saturday and head for the river. The screened in area is great for gathering and ordering food in. The rooms all have microwaves, refrigerators, air conditioning, showers, and toliets. What more could you need. We have a blast and the Starlight hotel totally accomidates our group.

The motel offered peace and quiet. My family of 4 were comfortable living for a week in their double room. I especailly like the fact that they do not allow pets.
