Wynnwood Inn & Suites, Virginia Beach

This is the most disgusting hotel ever! The room smelled aweful and the blankets were filthy. They only came in to change the towels that were even questionable. The room price given on the phone was totally not the price we were charged. They then decided to keep changing the check in times so we eventually paid for a full night..when we were really only there 30 mins. Beware! Just keep looking for another place...it's not worth putting a damper on your out of town plans to deal with people like this. Dishonesty and unclean rooms will put them out of business.

We received a room rate for Labor Day weekend at a different travel website for $172.00 for 2 queen beds. The rooms were ditry, the linens not clean, and we killed one cockroach in the room. I felt decieved through the pictures on the internet and the room rate, thinking this would be an -ok- hotel....I was wrong. FYI, the website I booked through did not have any reviews on this hotel, and I failed to look it up on another site--MY MISTAKE! If I had seen the poor reviews I would not have booked this hotel. One positive note: the front staff was pleasant.

This place was convientent to shopping and dining but as far as wanting clean......Look elsewhere. Our room was so filthy. There was dirt and hair all throughout our room when we first checked in. I had to call for clean linens because the ones on the bed looked dirty. I would not recomend this place to anyone that wants a clean room and a nice place to sleep. Sorry

Staff very friendly rates decent. Didnt see any issues with rooms, or service. Nice stay ill be back! Also great location considering the price diffrence from the beach!

I liked how honnest and freindly their staff was to me and my family. I stayed with my two year old and my five year old. They met our accomodations perfectly! Awesome visit to Virginia Beach!

This hotel looked very nice on the outside as it's right next to Chucky Cheese and across from the Mall. The front desk guy was very friendly. Those are the good points. The bad points: They DO NOT clean the rooms, They just replace the towels and make the beds. After I had gotten into the shower and started cleaning myself, I looked up and saw a thick white cobweb in the top corner of the shower. It had obviously been there for months. There was an open, half-used bottle of shampoo in there. And a used bar of soap. This was all after I got into the shower. So I know for a fact they DO NOT clean their rooms. Now I wonder if they change the sheets or just check to see if there are any stains on them and just remake the bed. It's scary. I will NEVER stay there again. I do not recommend it.

I am planning a return trip to the area and cannot believe this place is still in business. We stayed in 2004 with our 2 year old and 6 month old and were not informed that at the time the only exit was an elevator and the idiots staying decided to start a fire in the dumpster it was not handled properly and we did not recieve a refund. We drove back home, a ten hour drive with two children, because we wasted our money here.
