Cumbres Suites, Chama

We did not like the place WE LOVED THE PLACE, clean and friendly owners, Kip was just like family and treated us that way. (If we had to find something we did not like it would be the fact we did not meet his wonderful wife Terri who was out of town) the place is clean, the rooms are huge and beautiful home atmosphere, we are going back and will make that our home away from home. Thanks so much for all you did too make our stay wonderful

The owners are very friendly and accomodating. It is like home away from home, very relaxed atmosphere. I stay here every time I am in Chama.

Kip and Terri are the most accomading host you could ever find. The rooms are awesome. They are large, clean. Have a beautiful backyard for kids to play or to relax and have coffee or a drink. Close to nice eating establishments. Only thing we dislike is we don't get to go to Chama often enough. What struck my wife and I about this place was the cleanliness of the entire facility. Terry, Kip, Bobby, and Buddy were great hosts. There is a realy family type atmosphere,and did I mention how clean the place was. Chama is really beautiful, and you can't go wrong staying at the Cumbres Suites. We ride a motorcycle, and it looked like rain, so Kip let me put my bike in his garage, what a guy. Thanks to all.

This place is a disaster! Screaming kids and all their toys all over the office and common area. Not a place to relax! A planned three day stay quickly became just an overnight stay.

The personel at Cumbres Suites were the greatest in hospitality and impecable quality serevice. The food at Carlatte's was phenominal to say the least. Great coffee and the best made to order omelette on the planet. Thank you so much Carla and Steve. The BBQ however at K-Jerky's was the worse ever eaten and the pecan pie was rank. I wouldnt recommend K-Jerky's BBQ to anyone. The train ride, the people, the landscape is a bargain for anyone wanting to top off their vacation. We will definitely be going back to Chama.
