Motel One Muenchen City Sued, Munich

This lodge is one of the few original family lodges left. It is old but spotless. No phones in the room which I enjoy (everybody has a cell now anyway) The Lodge staff know everything thats going on in town and if there isn't anything happening, which is rare, they will throw a party! A great get a way for single and families. We'll be back!

Location is good, but Red River is small so everything is within walking distance. Room was clean but dated. Small tv, no phone, out of date phone number to contact the office. The brochure mentioned a hot tub but we never found it. The microwave was outside on the balcony and shared with other guests, We were towards the front of the hotel and the music from the bar across the street woke me up numerous times. You can hear everything in the room next to you. We could hear the father cussing at the little girl to get up at 4:30 am. Woke me up. We left around 7:45 and the office was locked so there was no opportunity to tell the staff about the noise. Parking was not adequate. Not enough room for all the guests and it was difficult to back out and into the street. The icy drive didn't help. Disliked paying for 4 nights stay in advance because it was the holiday season. Arrived in town and there were numerous vacancies. The deer on the facility were fun to photograph. Staff was pleasant. The first day the hot water wasn't at a consistent temperature for a shower but was fine the next 3 days. If we hadn't had the 4th day already paid we would have left and visited another area.

The Lodge was Great! Had fun. The New Managers, Wes and His Wife are Vary Personal. Will recommend to others Thanks for the good Times

Did not feel comfortable, we were being watched the whole time we were there. Could not enjoy. The only thing I liked was the deer in the ealy morning and evening. Other family members could not even come to our room to eat dinner with us, because we were accused of having others staying in the room. We were never even asked. The owner (husband) even came to our car checking how many people were in the car. Wife was nice

Because it is not a huge chain place, you feel like your staying at a friends house... too bad they took the hot tub out though

Somewhat dated but friendly staff, very hospitable. Rooms were clean, spacious and pretty well equipped. Location is great for access to town. Nice grassy area to relax (and grill), playground is a little old (but that didn't stop our kids). Great deal for the money, I would definitely stay there again.
