Rocky Mountain Manor, Red River

WE ABSOULETLY LOVED IT!!! We've stayed in many different places in Red River with our big family or just the two of us and Rocky Mountain Manor is our favorite! These cabins are amazing! Very, very clean and the couple running it are extremely nice and helpfull!!! They have a bonfire and smore's on Saturday night and it was awesome! Great sevice! We had little issues with the internet but internet doesn't quite work anywhere there anyway! You are at 8800 feet high and all the other places we stayed in were worst and old ! We'll be back again!!!.

me and my wife have taken our three children to red river for the last 5 years. and ive got to say rocky mountain manner is one of our favorite places to stay the owners are great and so is the service.they checked our room daily to see if we needed anything at all. they were a down to earth couple. we talked ,we sat around the fire it was great thanks so much cant wait to see you this year.we will be back. thanks again the Johnsons.

From the internet images the place looked great. They were very deceptive. The bed was very uncomfortable. We turned on the water faucet and the water coming from it was brown!! I didn't want to drink it or even bath in it. The electrical plugs in the bathroom did not work so had to use the one in the bedrooms, but there was no mirror, so was trying to get ready blind. They do not cean the rooms on a daily basis and if you use any utensils they charge you $25.00 to wash them. The lodge suite is very small and cramped. The place was very quiet and the people who run it very nice, but that does not make up for what was lacking.

It seems that the first review may have been written by someone with an axe to grind, especially in light of the rest of the reviews. I found an exceptionally well-run and accomodating staf who made sure my stay was the best ever. Rocky Mountain Manor is now my only destination hotel in Red River.

My family and I just got back from Red River on a spur of the moment trip. Even though we got to town late, They bent over backwards to help us... cutting us a deal and making sure we had everything we could need!!! What great service!!! We are already planning our next trip and there will be NO other place. Thanks again.

We Took our familly to Red River for our daughters birthday this last June. We really enjoyed our stay at the Rocky Mountain Manor and just loved the new owners. The first night we were there Tim and Lauren made a campfire in front of the lodge, we cooked smores and ate hotdogs. We also liked it there because we had a really nice, very clean cabin that was quiet and private next to the river. Any time we go to Red We are gonna stay at there.

I went there to check in and no one was there; even after waiting two hours. We talked to some locals and they said the owners up and fired the couple who was managing it. So we ended up staying at Lifts West, which is very nice. Stay away from rocky mountain manor.
