Jacob Lake Inn, Fredonia

I really enjoyed my stay at Jacob Lake Inn. I think the best description is rustic. Its like stepping back 30 years and experiencing the excitement of travel without distractions. Jacob Lake has hotel rooms and cabins. The hotel rooms are what you would expect of a modern middle of the road hotel with TV's, nice beds, phones, etc. The cabins are old, rustic, and just what you would expect of a cabin experience. The staff is extremely friendly and does their best to take care of everything you need. The food is unexpectedly good and reasonably priced for a lodge that is in the middle of nowhere. If you want a rustic, unique experience get a cabin, if you can't stand not having tv, get the hotel room. Overall my wife and I had a great time, the place was beautiful, the food was good, the gift shop had some amazing Indian art, and the people were very nice. We will definitely stop there again when we head out to the Grand Canyon.
