Lodge House Inn, Avenal

If you care about your well being, you will not stay at this "hotel." It is completely run down inside and out. I cant express in words how filthy the rooms are. It is a slum. The toilets dont flush, the furniture is broken, the bed spread hasnt been washed, the a/c is broken, the walls are dirty, the sink was stained, the bathroom door did not open or close. There was a horrible smell in the main office and in the rooms. The people who reside there are scary. There was screaming, loud music and men loitering the hallways drinking alcohol. Do not even think about taking your children here. I had a meeting at this hotel and I did not feel safe enough to be there a couple of hours, let alone over night....Did I mention the main door didnt lock?? P.S. there is prison down the street.
