Very Clean

Hotel was in good order. Lady at front desk was very nice. The room was spotless everyday. The exterior appearance was slightly outdated, but the inside of the room was better than any hotel chain. I recommend this hotel for a stop at Spruce Pine, NC

VERY Clean Room, Reasonable Price

My wife and I (empty nesters) stayed here a few nights ago after the old guy at the Exxon station on the edge of town recommended it to us. The lady at the desk was very nice and allowed us to look at the room before we paid for it. We stayed in the non-smoking section and found the room to be very clean and well kept. It had a small microwave and fridge, and a nice shower with great pressure. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. A very nice stay. We had dinner just up the road at the Western Sizzler...another clean place for good value.

Want to go back to High School?

This converted High School is very reasonably priced; however, the rooms are small and the beds unconfortable. My wife and I could barely fit on the bed and walking the hallways decorated with school desks made us uneasy.
