Taylorsville Motel, Taylorsville

i live in taylorsville and i kno the motel sucks haha someone must have rated the wrong taylorsville motel cuase yeh its infested with druggies roaches and everything else under the sun.. please take the 30 minute drive or go to apple city bed and breakfast which isnt far away

Due to the good reviews listed and the shockingly low we decided to stay at this hotel. This was the worst hotel we had ever stayed at. I warn any readers to STAY AWAY... If you need to stay in the area for anything at all I would suggest to stay anywhere but here. When we pulled up to the motel we new it wouldn't be a good experience right from the look of it. We got into the room which was horrible. The room was nasty, the beds were old and filthy, the rugs were disgusting and there is mold on the ceiling. The bathroom was so horrible we were afraid to use it. The bathroom was dirty, moldy, and falling apart. We slept in the clothes we wore the day we arrived. We were afraid to bring anything into the room in fear that the roaches would infest our belongings. We hardly slept due to the fact that we were so afraid of what would crawl on us during the night. My husband was up half the night killing roaches to try to keep them away from us. The tv also only offered about 5 channels which were snowy. In the morning we got up as early as possible to get out of there as fast as possible. I banged out my shoes and went outside to bring a few of the minor things out that we had to bring in. When I came back in to change I removed my shoes for no more than 2 minutes at which point a roach came out of nowhere and crawled into them, sun shining and everything they didn't care. The only reason we stayed there that night was because we were exhausted from working all day and driving out there plus the closest hotel was over 30 minutes away and there is a no refund policy. The way I see it is we were way over charged for the night we spent in this roach motel. Whatever you do please take my advice and STAY AWAY...

I stayed at this motel this past weekend (July 4th), The rates were very good, the service and quietness was good. The motel is dated and needs serious money put into it. I would suggest bringing your own bathroom cleaner, fly traps, mousetraps, and maybe even a gun. The clientele is shady to say the least. I'm not sure if it's a drug den or a flop house. It's a good deal for the money but when thats all there is... All I saw was NC tags which usually means homeless but we were fortunate enough to not be bothered.

Best Place I have ever Stayed great beds and a lot of things to do in the area and the customer service was perfect anything we wanted we got the rooms are clean I wish I would of took a picture to show
