Townhouse Motel, Guthrie

I had a disagreement about the bill, and left the premises. They had removed my belongings, took at least twenty wooden hangers, stuffed my clothes in garbage bags, suits and dress shirts and stole items of clothing. When asked about missing items they claim to have thrown out. I can understand that they want their money, but that does not give them the right to steal peoples personal belongings because of an fiscal error.

this motel is good the rooms are clean and nice .the rates are low. in fact the lowest in town when i checked around..I stayed during the 2008 x-mas holidays for about 5 days. right by all the antique shops and attractions. the room service was really good and the person at the front desk was very helpful and nice.what can i say more ,the motel dosen't seem to be all that bad like the other reviews said. i'd stay there again, and recommend it to others.

I stayed here for a week, they charged me to clean my room, I had to leave early and they refused to give my money back for the days I paid in advance, internet what? They complained when I came down for towels at 6AM because "they were still asleep"!! The only good thing about it is the location, and if you're waging on a decision between sleeping in a dumpster and using spare change ($25.00 per night) to put yourself up for the night, I'd recomend a good dumpster 3 blocks down the road near all the resturants! At least you won't wake up to a drug bust at 5AM in the room below you!! They can understand the words comming out of your mouth about as well as you can understand theirs! It's downright pitiful to consider this downtown hotel a part of the Guthrie, Oklahoma's historical preserve kept around at such a high standard, is the City Mayor trying to end all tourism?? Take capitol of that building! And sell it to somebody who will run it right!!

i stayed at this motel for about 4-5 days in june of 2007.the rooms were very clean and they had micro/fridges and coffee in them.there also was wi-fi internet.service was great and the hospitality was even better..this place had the cheapest rates .half the rate of the sleep inn or the best western. before i came to townhouse motel. i went to the interstate motel by the exit and that place is a mess. the rates there were much more then the townhouse motel. plus the rooms were dirty and didn't have anything in them except a bed and a t.v. .the bedspreads were stained and so was the funiture and carpet.i'm glad i didn't stay there. townhouse motel was right in downtown so i really did't even have to drive around because everything was in walking distance.nice and convinient. i plan to go back next year!

i stayed at this place for 2 weeks and the place is nice.it's clean , comfortable and convienent,because its right in downtown . you can just walk to all the antique shop,museums,restaurant's and other great places. the rooms had micro/fridge, and not to mention coffee.even had wireless internet, FREE.. the beds are comfortable. and the best thing is, it's REALLY quiet in that area.i only paid $225.00 for a week and that with taz and all. lowest rates in town.i would stay there again.

We stayed here almost a week and in all that time they never cleaned our room. We had to bag up the trash and take it out to the dumpster.
