We stopped at this motel because it showed up on our GPS as we passed late at night hoping for an affordable sleep stop. There was only 1 other car in the lot at 10 PM when we checked in. We had a loaded car with a trailer and appreciated the bright parking lot light to park under. In the morning as we loaded up our stuff and checked to make sure we left nothing behind, we found dirty underwear of unknown age in the drawers under the television.... obviously had not been carefully cleaned for who knows how long. We paid 70 something bucks including a "$10 Cash" penalty for our Papillion lapdog and probably should have kept looking. The "Free Wireless Internet" seemed to work well.... one good thing. The bed was very hard and we slept poorly. I made the mistake of drinking water from the faucet (I was out of bottled water) and though it didn't have any bad taste I had stomach problems the rest of the day and the motel water was the only thing I had ingested that my wife hadn't. With only 2 customers all night, they put us right next door to each other.... and when the neighbor started his shower it sounded like a tornado in OUR room, shades of the $20 cardboard-wall motels of the 1950's... Positives: Easy access from the turnpike, wireless internet worked well Negatives: High price, no accessories whatever, no laundry bag, no ice, the atmosphere is vacant.. maybe the guy taking the money is the only one ever THERE and he has trouble finding time to clean/spruce up the place.
