Hidden Valley Cabins are all that and then some.Very clean, comfortable beds, cozy rooms, love the kitchen, love the porches, love the view, love the ease of access to downtown and yet you still feel "hidden" away.Only thing I would like to see different is king size beds in all single cabins-I've stayed in one with queen size and one king size-and if I was staying for several days-which I plan to do in spring-I hope there are better grills and pans in kitchen, every thing else is great, great, great.I will definitely continue to visit Mountain View and will never stay anywhere else.
My family and I stayed at Hidden Valley Cabins last summer (2005). We had a wonderful time seeing the sights around the area, and had a pleasant stay in the cabins.
The only dislike I had, was the beds. They were extremely uncomfortable! The best way to describe them were that the matresses were old, worn out and sagged severely in the middle. It's a shame, because you are primarily using these cabins to rest up for the next day's fun.
Other than this, my girls enjoyed the pool. It was clean and well kept up.
The staff at the cabins were polite and agreeable. My family and I will probably consider staying there again. I sure hope they fix the beds (for my back's sake)!
