Sylamore Lodges, Mountain View

First, no complaints at all. My dog, Jimmy Ralph, had a blast, running out the door at daylight...meeting up with the other dogs in the area...running the hills. At one point, he and the pack were all sleeping on the front porch of our cabin. Friendly owners, staff...all helpful if I needed anything. We will return.

What a beautiful place to stay! The first time I noticed the cabins I said to myself, self, you should go there sometime! Spent three different occasions in the one room cabins. They have a wonderful view of the valley and railroad tracks!! Stayed in 'the dream catcher' cabin the last time. Everything you need is right there. The owners have always been great! I brought a beautiful box that the owner had made. That box has been displayed in my front room since!!

We stayed in a cabin twice, the first time was o.k. the second time, we fought fleas the whole time we were there and the linens were dirty.

I took my parents for a Mother's Day/Father's Day treat. We had the best time. The cabins are absolutely gorgeous. Everything inside was spotless from the beds to the bathroom. My mom can't wait to go back and RELAX.....

This place is a treasure! We stayed in a very comfortable mountain home (#9) with a beautiful view of the White River from a porch with a swing! The town of Mountain View is just right down the road. Beautiful fall foliage. Don't miss these attractions: Ozark Folk Center (closed in winter), Blanchard Springs Caverns, a beautiful cave 10 miles away that is owned by the National Forest Service, and the Dulcimer Shop north of Mountain View. And if you miss civilization, there's a very nice Wal-Mart and Pizza Hut in Mountain View.

The cabin was clean, well furnished, reasonably priced and had a beautiful setting. The person who wrote the reveiw in November must have stayed someplace else, not Sylamore Lodges.
