We stayed at the Sooner Motel in Stroud Oklahoma. I would strongly advise not to stay. It was $52 plus tax, maybe would have paid $5. It was filthy and SO OUTDATED! It had a funny smell, the bathroom only had a shower stall which was gross, we were scared to even shower in there, had there been a Walmart nearby we would have went to buy flip flops just to wear in the shower. The bathroom mat/towel was one from another big hotel chain, the bath towels were very worn and almost had holes in them. The bathroom door had a big gap at the top and bottom, didnt fit the frame. There were several broken chairs sitting outside of the motel.

This Place Is Nasty

I am at the Sooner Motel right now!!! This place is filthy. I would ask for my money back, but I'm exhausted from driving for three days. The curtains are disgustingly dirty. There are cigarette burns in the chairs and comforter. There's some kind of huge weird burn stain on the ceiling from a wall heater. For $37.98 I could have gotten a clean room at a Motel 6. I should have driven the 40 miles to Tulsa. The strange thing is that the place is totally dirty, but they have (unadvertised) Wi-Fi here. Take my advice and stay at a chain place in Chandler or Tulsa instead.
