Worst Experience ever
By Carmen, 9/7/11
Where to begin???I made a reservation for 2 days ( worst mistake), but after the first day I decided that it was not worth it. The smell was nasty and my allergies started to kicked in and I could not sleep with my allergies or the bad pillows. The blankets were all coming out of the bed. Next morning I was at least expecting a " continental breakfast" as it was offered. Surprised!!! Just donuts and coffee. They did not have anything for my children!!!!!. Coffee for them too!!!. That I should be happy that they provided Krispy Kream , yummy!! I decided to leave and they say that they do not issue refunds and that they do not disclose the cancellation policy because they have a sign on the counter. The sign was 4 x5 on small letters. And that the manager was out of town and he was the only person to approve refunds. I think that they are deceiving the customers and as I was reading the reviews, it seems that the receptionist have the same and peculiar answers. I left after the first night and I am still disputing the second night because I did refuse to stay with my family under those conditions. They charged me for the second night even thought I did not stay there the second night, because by mistake I reserve for 2 nights. Learned my lesson, from now on reserve only one night and then decide. I will write a review in all sites this hotel is advertised so people are aware of the lies and business practices. Hopefully I will find an organization in pigeon Forge that receives complaints about this kind of hotels and do something about it. I have read that other customers were not refunded either, maybe there will be enough to file a formal complaint or a suit. Again Horrible experience and I have travel a lot.

AWFUL PLACE TO STAY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/28/11
The hotel was overall TERRIBLE!! It was $85 for a queen suite, thought it would be nice considering it was a suite, I was wrong! The hotel had a bad stinch, the mini fridge was leaking on the floor, as soon as we opened the door SAW A BUG on the wall, the white tile was black because it was so DIRTY, the shower was FILTHY, there was a black gooey substance on the dresser, the decor was from the 70s and really really needed updating. DID NOT REFUND MONEY when we decided not to stay in the dump, would have rather slept in my car than on that NASTY BED!!! I DO NOT recommend for anyone to stay in this hotel. GROSS!

NO HOT WATER!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/18/11
Stayed in this motel just this weekend--it was OK for the price--but we had NO hot water the next morning to take showers--we informed the office there was no hot water and was told to wait 30 minutes to allow for the water to heat back up but needless to say we had already been waiting for an hour--we had to end up with cold showers and was informed by management that we were the only ones complaining of no hot water and that is was our problem--as we were packing up to leave my husband asked several people that was staying there and they also stated that they had no hot water--so unless you like to take cold showers I would not stay. We visit Pigeon Forge alot and we will not stay at this Inn again.

“Amazing Place to Stay”
By Robert Glen, 4/9/11
I stayed here at Briarstone Inn Pigeon Forge, Tn Recently. This beautiful place is "one of a kind." There is not one thing negative to say about Briarstone Inn. This hotel is wonderful. This was my second stay and it was just as great as the first one. The staff is always courteous, friendly, and very helpful. This has to be the absolute cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. I enjoyed the pool alot. The bed was comfortable and clean. I recommend this hotel to eveyone.

ok for the price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/19/11
The front desk personnel were very friendly and outgoing. Our room was almost too clean! what I mean is the smell of the cleaning products was very very strong whenever we would walk into our room, and even the bedding was very strong. I think that everyone should remember that even clean motels can have bugs.....bugs can stow away in room tenants' bags and then stay behind. We were fortunate not to have any bugs but seeing one isnt as big a deal as others seem to make it out to be....

WARNING: THIS PLACE IS NOT CLOSE TO A GOOD HOTEL
By Cj, 3/6/11
Well 1st we got a nonsmoking room, once we walked in it smelled like a smoker just walked out. There were spider webs everywhere, fleas everywhere, mold everywhere, ect. To connect to the Wi-Fi you literally had to sit upside down. The plastic cups that were wraped up had grass that had a terrible smell to it. I would not recommend this to anyone nor will we stay there again.

We might stay again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/30/10
Our room was clean and it was a comfortable environment. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was in walking distance of many restaurants and shopping centers. I did not like that there were stains on the towels and the room was missing an alarm clock which I am used to having in a hotel room, but it was a great rate for the month of June.

The worst place I have ever stayed!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/1/08
I recently stayed at the hotel with my family for our vacation. When we arrived they gave us teh key to our room and when we walked in tehre was an awful smell in the room that made us want to puke there was also fleas in the room because it is "Pet Friendly", We then changed rooms onto the top floor it was even worse. There were still fleas, gunk beside the beds, stains in the carpet and walls and blood stains on the sheets. This hotel is awful and its the worst experience I have ever had. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Perfect stay in Pigeon Forge
By Shailesh, 6/18/08
We arrive at the hotel a few hours earlier than check in time. The hotel owners made a special effort and let us check in without any extra charges and even offered us late breakfast. The hotel is reasonably priced with clean and people friendly environment. We will recommend it to all our friends and family who will be visiting pigeon forge in near future.
