I've died and gone to Heaven

McNally's was a great surprise. Driving up along Kern River with noone else on the road (5pm), we found the parking lot full and the resturant buzzing. Beautiful location, building, great staff, fantastic steak-"petite fillet" is not petite. It was so-o-o good. The best steak I have found in my search for the perfect steak. I wish I could come here once a week.

My Most-Favorite Place

Been enjoying a fabulous meal here every year since 1977. There are lots of superlative words, and all of them describe McNally's. The food, location, staff, experience, ambiance, etc etc. All are superb. Carl N.

The food is the best. The value is great. The service is excellent. The lodge is a great place to rest your head, clean comfortable rooms. I loveto go there every year.

What a place to stay

It's not just a hotel, it is a full resort. This place is right on the Kern river and has the best steak house that I have ever visited. I was also very surprised after living on the East Coast for years, I had the best Lobster ever at Johnny McNally's. This place gets five stars from me.
