Holiday Inn Exp Las Vegas, Las Vegas

I have stayed at a few Holiday Inn Express locations, and this I agree is a nicer one. Breakfast was good, and staff was very friendly, at night and in the morning both at the hotel desk and the breakfast. Room was typical, very clean, and did smell good. Didn't get a chance to use the pool/hot tub. This is on the Southern edge of town. I think that the other hotels we drove by were not in as good of area (around the downtown), and the other chain hotels were on the Northern side of the city. Don't expect to find anything to do in this town, as we drove around at 7pm and it was dead. Only a few chain restaurants were open at 7pm, and maybe one or two other smaller restaurants (which we ate at one attached to a different hotel, but it wasn't all that good). I have no complaints about this hotel, except there isn't anything around it.
