Village Motor Lodge, Smithfield

A great retro look to it. It has high ceilings which made it seem really spacious. We were only there for the night but it felt safe and cozy. There was a little trash on the playground but otherwise everything was nice. We would definately stay there again.

Sure the place is a bit dated, but I didn't have a problem with anything in the room. The furniture was clean, bed and sheets were clean and everything was orderly. AC unit in the room worked great, probably the newest thing. Bathroom wasn't fancy but I wasn't expecting a 5 star hotel. There were 2 sinks, 1 right outside the bathroom so I could brush my teeth and get ready for bed while the wife was showering. Also there's a nice pool we used and it came in handy because of the August heat. We also took a walk around the large outdoor park area. Overall, I thought it was a great value for the price. Conveniently near I-95, and good ambiance.

All the time stayed at the Village Motor Lodge Smithfield N.C. It is half way for us. Also pet allowed at very reasonable price. Staff pleasant, Good service,cleanliness good too.You can"t beat the location and price.

great price, good rooms, its very clean, tv cables new more channels, also parking front of your room, they have a camara system so feel safe and early breakfast and also new heat and ac units work great.

We like rooms. specialy ceiling is made from wood like old fashion also new ac &heat unit. Also swimming pool is biggest in town, nice gazibo in middle also they have a nice play ground. Parking front of your room.Good staff,nice clean rooms also rate is reasonable. Motel has a internet too.

We've stayed at the Village Motor Lodge on our way to and from South Carolina for about the past 8 years; it's about half-way for us. and They accept pest too. Old and Good

I stayed here about 5 years ago on my way up to new york but the place has made some improvements since then. It was a good deal for the price before, but I was suprised by the room this time. It's located right off of I-95, the room was clean and looked like they've replaced the carpet and heater/ac. Last time it was a bit noisy (nothing unbearable), but the newer unit worked well and wasn't noisy. Anyway, can't beat the price and location, and the room was pretty nice as well.
