Ritchie's Motel, Albemarle

great service,clean and a pretty good area. also good prices for a night stay or more.

Take it from someone that see's that place everyday. The place is a dump, only like 2 people work there. A old couple died, and left it to a mother and her son, they live in a trailer in the back. The rooms are smaller than a half bathroom it seems. Albemarle is known for burglaries, and if you like your stuff, then I advise not staying here. The best restaurant in town is Sagebrush Steakhouse, which is right next to Ryan's Restaurant. Albemarle also has a Wal Mart, a Blockbuster, a video game store, and a lot of gas stations, but I advise not to go to the Shell station near this motel. I am a local, so take it from me.

this place is absolutely horrible. There is a fat lady sitting at the window not doing a thing. People running around not helping, and it always smells like pott at the window. I stayed on night and will not ever recommend it, not even to my worse enemy
