A Pleasant Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/21/06
This motel is small and quaint. It is not a luxury motel, however, it is clean and neat and quiet. The rooms are large enough to accomodate me in a wheelchair. The bathrooms are clean. The decor is simply done without any of the frills often seen in the larger motels. For a inexpensive and quiet stay, this is the place to go. You can sit outside and soak up the whole mountain experience with the views all around. The amenities are not abundant, with cable Tv, Ice machine, hot coffee in the morning, and the usual maid service and laundry facilities. There isn't a swimming pool, but the charm this motel has makes up for that. If you are used to the finer things in life and the conveniences that most motels offer, then this is not the place for you. If you want an inexpensive, clean, quiet and peaceful night's rest, then this is the place for you to stay. There is a grocery store a few miles down the road. There is a produce market within a block of the motel and a burger shack just down the road. Downtown Andrews is just a few blocks away and on the same road as the motel. They even have a ice cream stand nearby as well. I enjoyed my stay and will return again this year if I can.
