connecting family cabins
By ,
we just came off a family outing at Adventure Village and loved it,we rented the connecting family cabins which worked out great with my sisters family and our family in the other one, picnic table was in between the cabins on the deck that connected the two units, the cabins were complete with everything that you needed, they were small but had plenty of room for 6 people, this would be excellent to rent in the fall, they have plenty of trees, swimming pool was nice with a kiddie pool, we saw BIG fish being pulled out of the fishing lake beside the pool area. The area is filled with nice waterfalls.

They Kept Exceeding Expectations!
By ,
Adventure Village has two kinds of cabins - Daniel Boone and Family Cabins. We stayed in a Family Cabin - four kids and two adults - and it was perfect! The kitchen has exactly what you need for your stay (full size fridge, dishwasher, regular stove/oven). One nice touch was that they tucked a supply of coffee filters in the coffee-maker (how did you know that I'd forget those!?). Plenty of towels in the bathroom and we didn't run out of hot water. Enjoyed the porch, too! The kids loved having their own space in the open loft . Bonus for the Family Cabins is that you are still in walking distance to the playground, pool and ponds, but you have privacy (we couldn't see or hear our neighbors). The roads inside the Village are gravel and we got stuck in the mud (driver error). However, Yank (a ray-of-sunshine of a guy who works there) yanked us out with his truck. Can you say Full Service?? Adventure Village is very close to the French Broad for tubing, kayaking or canoeing. Prefer tubing the FB to the Davidson River in the park (water depth matters). It is about a 10 minute drive to downtown Brevard - so a great location, too! Will always choose this place over other cabins for rent around there because of the amenities. The campground office is clean, stocks the necessary gear for camping and fishing, has a library (videos and books), and snacks and drinks. Very conducive for families with children.

Camping Cabin
By ,
Family of four stayed in the camping cabin and really enjoyed it. The cabin was not big but comfortable and affordable. The ambience of the little stream behind it was a great attraction and the hiking trails throughout the park were a good warm up for trails in Pisgah. The village is very close to US 215, the best way to approach the BlueRidge Parkway. The ammenities such as the archery range/trail and fishing lake looked appealing but will have to be saved for another time. The family is looking into going back again for a big family get together in the summer and we plan on staying in one of the bigger cabins that looks awesome. I can't wait to see what kind of all inclusive trips we can do that will include a canoe tour.

We will be returning!
By ,
Loved the peace and quiet, the clean campsites and campground, plenty of trees, the archery range, the fishing pond complete with ducks and geese and their goslings, the cheerful attitudes of all the help there, the convenience of the little camp store, and the location. It was close to the Pisgah Forest and other National Parks and only 5 miles away from Brevard, a great little town for shopping and eating out.

we've stayed there 3-4 times
By ,
Small cabins by the stream are cute and comfortable. We aren't talking luxery, but they are clean and have a little bit of ambiance. A good value. Sure beats staying in a hotel and eating out. FP Greenville, SC

Great little place / pets allowed
By ,
Great place, cute cabins, close to hiking and downtown Brevard which has restaraunts, coffee house, etc. We stayed in one of the small cabins and had a great time. A very fair price for a nice, clean cabin. We used it as a base camp for Myself, My wife, dog, and newborn to go hiking and into town.
