Unexpected Gem !

This is a traditional Mom and Pop hotel that is currently managed by the daughter of the man that built this hotel. We found the Tower Circle when we decided to come to a surfing contest at the last minute and had to drive around off the main road to find accommodations. Lucky for us!
Although it looks traditional on the outside - the interiors have all been redone with the beadboard walls painted in the blue and green colors of the sea, white trim, gauzy window covering and clean, clean, clean! The sheets smell like the ocean.
We have vacationed on the Outer Banks for more than 20 years and have stayed in lots of places - some good..some awful. So I can tell you what is missing at the Tower Circle - moldy air conditioners, musty carpets, corner crud, road noise, and stress. I mean this place is relaxxxing!
It is about 1 1/2 blocks from the nearest beach access - thru the neighborhood so you don't have to cross any major roads. There is a pretty decent surf break there and it is close enough to the hotel to set up chairs and unbrellas on the beach but come back and forth to the rooms to get snacks or bathroom breaks.
Speaking of snacks all the rooms have microwaves, refrigs, and several have full kitchens. They have a few family size apartments with decks or balconies also with kitchens.
A very nice place to stay if you get to go to Buxton NC sometime.
