San Jon Motel, San jon

We are truck drivers and stay at motels occasionally. This is a nice quiet, clean, cheap place to stay. They are nice laid back people. They are very willing to help you out or point you in the right direction. We will stay here as often as our travels get us this way.

im an over the road truck driver, i broke down in san jon nm., and all i could think was wow im in the middle of no where! the tow truck company told me about this little motel in town... the folks at the motel was VERY friendly and thoughtful to my situation... the room was very clean!!! and the folks that run the motel was kind enough to take me to get something to eat and back to my truck. i have stayed at some really nice hotels and paid alot more money but the service i got from san jon motel was far beyond anything i could have ever haved dreamed of!!! thanks san jon motel i WILL be back!!! and i WILL tell anyone thats driving out this way to be sure to plan their stop here with yall in san jon

Really clean, old, American owned traditional mom 'n pop motel, just a little ways off of I-40, along old Route 66 (the town of San Jon itself is pretty much dead, however). And what a value - I was charged $19 for one person, one night - including tax! My room was small, but really clean, the bed was comfy, and the room had some really nice "homey" touches. Will definitely stay here again if in area!

I sure did enjoy the great service clean rooms and the fact that the management did not allow big parties or bad behavior on the premsis
