River Cove Cabins, Murphy

My cabin was clean and well equipped. A very relaxing atmosphere in a natural setting by the Nottley river. Very close to Murphy which was a pleasant small town surprise. Friendly people, make that, very friendly people and good restaurants. Even a 1st class Wal-Mart. Hard to believe but true. Yes, use bottled water for drink and coffee. I noticed no odor with the tap wellwater but then again I do not drink city water either. I found the owners to be very friendly. Read a prior review saying otherwise. Hard to believe. Most likely one of the entitlement generation. Yes it is rustic but that is part of the charm. Sitting around a campfire in the evenig with other "happy" guests was a real plus. I highly recomend this establishment. David B

Just got kicked out for having some friends and family over. No party, just a cookout with my sister, who rented the place. Owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. I'd just sum it up with..... Don't Go!

Thanks again Wanda and Gary for another great weekend. Everything was wonderful as usual.We rode The motorcycle over 500 miles thru North Carolina.Tennessee and Georgia. If you are looking for a quite place to relax and just enjoy the peace, Rivercove cabins are the best. We have been coming here for a few years now and it has always been great. We try and get away about every 2 months and have always loved it at the cabins. It is the most down to earth place and the owners Gary and Wanda are wonderful caring people. Never have I felt so welcomed and appreciated.Gary and Wanda are so welcoming and accomodating going out of their way to make our stay there as enjoyable as possible. Not only did I find a place of beauty and serenity but made new friends along the way. Can't wait to go back!

I came to the River Cove Cabins with 10 members of my family. We stayed in three different cabins and had the best time ever! Even though you are on vacation and away from your home.....staying at the River Cove Cabins makes you feel like you are at home again! This place is awesome...scenery is gorgeous...and the owners, Gary and Wanda are amazing! I can't wait to go again and again and again! I have recommended River Cove Cabins to all of my friends and I recommend it to you!

Gary and Wanda are awesome people. They will go out of their way to make you feel at home. The cabins are beautiful and Rustic. They are Clean and stocked with plenty of Towels. We love all of the cabins, we have stayed in just about all of them.They have Fires going at night so people can sit around and conversate. The game room is great and The front Porches are awesome to sit on and just took in the River and the scenary. Mark and I would recommend these cabins to everyone.The summers are great, The fall is Gorgeous. The Winters and Spring are breath taking.Don't Miss out! Mark and Joni Bowles

We rented a cabin for three nights in July. The well water was horrible smelling, the cabin was not very clean (we found dirty clothes under the bed) and we only had clean towels delivered once during our stay. The owners were ok but we found the husband rather rude. The area is beautiful but there are plenty of other cabins in the area to stay at. Next time we will spend our money at one of them and hopefully have a better experience.

My husband and our 2 young children stayed for 3 days. The owners were very nice and accomidating. The cabin was much nicer than the photos showed. We had a wonderful time mining and roasting marshmellows. The only drawback was the well water was stinky.

We love the jacuzzi cabin on the river. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The cabins are very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed fishing in the Nottely River and sitting around the campfire at night. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We can't wait to go back there again.
