Beautiful location

We very much like the relatively unspoiled town of Cashiers, the beautiful places to hike and the town's great reataurants. When we stayed at Millstone a few years ago, dinner was not compulsory. We did eat there one night but enjoyed our meals more at restautants in the town. When dinner became compulsory, we did not return to Millstone. Generally we enjoyed the inn, but we did feel the cook had too much influence. For example, it was impossible to get bacon for breakfast. The wine and cheese before dinner and the availablity of drinks, coffee, fruit and cookies around the clock really made us feel at home. If we didn't have to eat dinner there, we would return.
